For the last 78 years our company has been providing premium live bait and tackle to the Twin Cities, Minnesota and for the last 35 plus years all over the continental United States through Vados Bait & Tackle and our shipping business, Vados Bait Express.
Our founding company, Vados Bait & Tackle started in 1947 as a Retail Live Bait and Tackle store in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We have been at our current location at 7895 Highway 65 NE, Spring Lake Park, MN since 1955. We offer a large selection of live bait and fresh water fishing tackle. We do our best to keep our 32 feet of minnow tanks full of many sizes and types of minnows from Crappie minnows, Fatheads, Sucker minnows, shiners and river minnows etc. We also offer Night Crawlers and leeches, maggots, wax worms, meal worms and other seasonal baits in a variety of package quantities and sizes. We also carry Certified Frozen Smelt and Herring.
We also offer complete reel repair service and rod repair service on site. In the fall we also Shrink wrap boats for winter storage. Stop in a see us, we are open every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
